Ways to Give

    Oliver Dean Heritage Society

    You are here

With a planned gift to Dean College, you can achieve your personal financial and charitable goals in one simple act of generosity. We work with individuals who are interested in making gifts to the College through a variety of financial vehicles, including: bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance policies, or real estate.

Donors become members of the Oliver Dean Heritage Society, named for Dr. Oliver Dean, the Founder of Dean Academy. In 1865, Dr. Dean provided approximately nine acres of land in Franklin as the school site and a $125,000 gift toward its construction. Now close to celebrating its sesquicentennial, Dean is positioned to celebrate its past and secure its future. Now is the perfect time to advance the legacy of the individual who guided the development of the Academy from its beginnings and served as its first president.

Oliver Dean founded the school to ensure the benefits of educational opportunity for future generations. Your planned gifts to Dean enable us to continue this vision well into 21st century and for generations to come.

If you have already made provisions for Dean in your plans, please let us know in writing so that we may include you in the Oliver Dean Heritage Society as well. Your tax advantaged gift can help to ensure that your financial and charitable goals are attainable. Please consult your tax professional for specific information.
